NICE, Alex! I bet there are a LOT of nice vehicles, there!
Thanks, again, for sharing your AWESOME nighttime skyline! You don't realize how homesick you are, until you see pics of somewhere you wish you could go, more often. My "refuge" happens to be the farm on the north side of the bridge, called Ardenwood Farm. I used to pretend that it was my place! What I wouldn't do to get a piece of property like that! LOVE that place!!!!!
Ever been to Ardenwood for firetruck day? Really cool. We also used to go there for pumpkin patch and corn maze. I remember going to a Celtic fare there a decade ago too. Love that place. If 880 is slow I take Newark blvd instead. I now work almost in Alviso, so pass that area daily.

Yes! That old firetruck is quite the hoot! My fave is actually just riding the horse-drawn "train."
"We also used to go there for pumpkin patch and corn maze."
Our kids were really small, when we left (3&5) so we didn't do that, yet. Went to a HELLA COOL maze, this year: Click on the Aerials: http://www.facebook.com/BoseFamilyFarm?sk=photos 6-ACRE corn field! We were slipping and sliding out there in the fricken MUD, FREEZING our butts off, Halloween night, and...I'm gonna take the kids, again, next year! :-D
"I remember going to a Celtic fare there a decade ago too."
Never went to that, neither!
"Love that place."
Yeah. Me, too! I took a BOATLOAD of pictures of that place! LOVED the architecture of that house!

Funny: I had to look Alviso up! Didn't even know where that was! :-/

Oh, funny: just noticed the "Your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner approval." message, above! Sorry! Thought I lost it! I think I backed up and re-posted it! :-/ (when all else fails, read the messages!)
Yeah, I've been spammed a lot on this blog. Funny. my other blogs don't get hit at all.
Hmm, the way you refer to Firetruck singular, I suspect you are referring to the large steam traction engine. Firetruck day is when they have a car show where all the vehicles are fire trucks. Last time I went they even had an airport crash tender They have a mix of old and new, with the local fire services bringing some interesting kit.
